Let's hope some robot doesn't kill everybody

Starting a new line of jewelry and other stuffs- polybots! Jointed, one of a kind polymer clay robots for necklaces, earrings, keychains, and whatever else. This one doesn't have a face yet, but is pretty cool anyway if I do say so myself.

I don't know about a name yet, but I'm thinking James. Also, if I can get some printer ink, I'd like to make little robot "birth certificates" to send out with them. The kind of thing they included with Cabbage Patch Kids. It'll have the robot's name and date of creation, and likes and dislikes.

For instance, the robot currently known as James enjoys... (more)

Long time no update! Life is hectic and business is slow, but I'll be listing a bunch of new things, so hopefully that will all turn around.

I posted some pictures of a new bangle bracelet on flickr, but flickr is being a bitch and you might not be able to see them, so here they are again. Enjoy.

I want to make more to list in my shop, but have no idea what to charge for them. For the labor alone they would cost at least $32, and even that's conservative. Add that to the fact that all the gem chips I used are genuine....and I don't know that they could sell for what I would have to... (more)

Shop is up and running! Finally!

Harle's J and friggin' M

Not much in there yet, just some heart jewelry and holiday stuff. I hope to have at least 3 more items in there by tomorrow morning, hopefully a total of 15 by sunday. I am in a crafting frenzy (Homework? What homework? and also Sleep, what's that?). I will be mostly unavailable until the 20th except for Fridays, which are my day off. Kind of. So if anyone wants to take me for sushi or something, let's do it on a Friday

What you will mostly be seeing next is pendants, some polymer clay rings, hair accessories, and some cool... (more)

Busy busy lately. Working on setting up my Etsy shop. Should be up and running either late this week or early the next. I'd like to get as much inventory in there as possible at once, which means I'm currently swamped with projects as well as homework.

Not many pictures for you this week, but I will share a heart pendant I just made. In the future I'd like to make a lot of these in a few different sizes. This one will probably be the medium size, I'll make another about 2/3 that, and then I really want to make a massive one. Like 3.5 inches tall. I'll call it a... (more)

This ring was made for MissDisney and she asked me to post it. It's a size 11 in my heart ring and the heart itself is a bit bigger than the original. I like this one even more than my own ring and almost wish I could keep it!

Close up of ring

Showing size (sorry for bluriness!)

I'm really excited to ship this out. Thanks so much for being my first formal sale! Let me know if there's anything you'd like changed

I've been working on recycled crafts lately, some of which aren't ready to be posted yet, but here's one of my favorites.

It's made of pop tabs and recycled metal beads (along with a few plastic beads thrown in). The tabs are woven together with silver jewelry wire and the beads are connected that way too. This makes for a really durable accessory, but takes forever. This was a test run that took me about 5 or 6 hours total, not counting the handful of failed attempts.

It's permanently attached to a black grosgrain ribbon, but in the future I'd like to secure them to pins so that they... (more)

Just finished the Retro Video Game swap (mostly), and thought I'd post my goods.
This here is a Super Mario hat earring box (and truly my pride and joy) Took me... I guess 9 hours to complete and was a first attempt for me. I'm a little sad it's gone, but hopefully my swap partner loves it. If not I'll just hunt her down and get it back.

Cosmo liked it too.

This here is the Pac-Man necklace which took me a surprisingly long time to make. Ghosts are stubborn bastards. It turned out really cute despite the trouble, though. I plan on making one for myself... (more)

Sorry for the multiple emails if you're subscribed! My pictures didn't want to work before but it should be fine now.

Now that my camera has come back from the dead I will be updating probably nonstop. Enjoy.

Heart ring made of polymer clay, glossy mod podge and 24 gauge silver toned wire. This I actually like a lot. I'm thinking about maybe doing more heart-themed jewelry. I want to try something a little more graphic next time though. We'll see what I can manage.

My poker chip earrings are less new but I wanted pictures of them up. Made from red plastic poker chips ($0.99 at Goodwill... (more)

I know, I should update more. And I'll start, really. Anyway...just a couple things to add tonight.
The first is a two-tone woven wire ring with chunks of garnet. The size is adjustable, so you can wear it on any finger. I think it came out pretty sweet.

Alright, next thing is a heart necklace I worked on yesterday and part of this morning. I did it in gold wire and used clear elastic as the cord to give it a floating effect.

Ok, that's it for tonight. More tomorrow or something. Or after that. Enjoy.

Well, the newest I have pictures of. I had originally planned to post everything in the order they were made in, but I don't care that much. I'll post stuff whenever I feel like it.
These things I made for a swap. The first is a charm bracelet done with cable chain and polymer clay fruit dangles. It's nearly impossible to capture the detail of the fruit in a picture, but this gives you the basic idea of what it looked like. In order from top right to top left, the fruits are: lemon, orange, grapes, peach, strawberry, banana, watermelon, and tomato. The tomato was removable by spring ring... (more)
